I spent the day yesterday in the emergency room……no not for me….with my brother who it turned out has a blood clot in his arm …which is just added to everything else he is going thru….They took alook at that arm and said…”you will be staying” ….turns out he will be there 3 to 5 [...]

I have been awake since around 4 a.m. The only one up with me is kitty….that fat boy is always awake and ready to be cuddled..
We lit the tree…..and now are just waiting for someone…anyone…to wake…
Years ago I would have had to tie my kids to their beds to keep them in it on Christmas [...]

This and the new somerset studio magazine came in the mail just in time to take them with me while I waited for my brother to get his Chemo yesterday….
I went for lunch with two friends ……then went back to sit in the car and read!

Well now I know how much Chemo sucks! It hit my brother hard…and he was a train wreck for a few days! He was awful sick on Thanksgiving which made him have to stay home instead of coming to our house…It was not the same with him not here for a holiday meal! I saved [...]
